Two feet of snow blown by strong winds last week didn't keep these kids from basking in the sunshine on Sunday (11/9) behind Dorothy Gugel's home. Unlike our brethren up in Lead and Deadwood, where they picked up four feet of snow and more, we measured only about 24 inches -- most of it coming last Friday (11/7). A bit of it had melted by Sunday, but as you can sort of see above, the drifted and plowed snow still left lots of snow on the landscape.
